2. Nature of Service: Claimo.uk is an automated document preparation and transmission software tool designed to format statutory appeal challenges under Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (POFA 2012) and relevant BPA/IPC Codes of Practice.

3. Legal Representation Disclaimer: Neither Claimo.uk nor DEA Bookkeeping and Payroll operates as a law firm, solicitors' practice, or regulated legal advisory service. Our platform provides document automation only. We do not provide legal advice, represent users in court, or guarantee the cancellation of any parking charge notice. Final decision authority rests exclusively with the respective parking operator, independent adjudicator (POPLA/IAS), or court of law.

4. User Responsibility & Data Accuracy: Users bear sole responsibility for verifying that all vehicle registration marks (VRM), PCN reference numbers, full names, and email addresses submitted are accurate. Neither Claimo.uk nor DEA Bookkeeping and Payroll shall be held liable for appeal rejections or missed deadlines resulting from inaccurate or incomplete user input.

5. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification: To the fullest extent permitted by law, DEA Bookkeeping and Payroll and Claimo.uk are fully indemnified against any direct, indirect, or consequential damages, outstanding fines, debt collection charges, or legal fees resulting from the use or inability to use this service.

Privacy Policy (UK GDPR)

1. Data Controller: Personal data collected via Claimo.uk is controlled and processed by DEA Bookkeeping and Payroll (Sole Trader) in full compliance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR regulations.

2. Collected Data & Purpose: We collect personal identifiers (Full Name, Contact Email Address, Vehicle Registration Mark, PCN Reference Number) and uploaded ticket media strictly under Contractual Necessity (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR) to generate and dispatch statutory appeal documentation.

3. Encryption & Purge Retention: All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. Uploaded ticket images and processed records are automatically purged from active storage buffers within 30 days of fulfillment.

4. Third-Party Infrastructure: Personal details are never sold or rented. Essential operational data is processed solely through encrypted transaction providers (Stripe) and secure dispatch servers (SMTP) strictly for service delivery.

Refund Policy

1. Digital Fulfillment Fee: The £3.99 fee covers immediate automated data extraction, document formatting, data validation, and digital dispatch services operated by DEA Bookkeeping and Payroll (Sole Trader). Service performance commences immediately upon order confirmation.

2. Refund Eligibility: Refunds are strictly restricted to verified technical server errors where a system failure prevents the generation or dispatch of an appeal document.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances: Refunds will NOT be granted under the following conditions:

• An operator or adjudicator (POPLA/IAS) rejects the appeal challenge.
• Inaccurate VRM, PCN number, or email details entered by the user.
• Submission of a council, police, or public authority notice (as Claimo.uk strictly processes private POFA 2012 charges).

4. Assistance Requests: Technical refund requests can be submitted to support with payment proof and system logs.

Cookie Policy

1. Strictly Necessary: Claimo.uk does not currently set any cookies of its own. We use your browser's local storage only to remember your cookie choice (Accept All / Necessary Only), so we don't ask again on every visit. This is considered strictly necessary under UK PECR and does not require consent.

2. Analytics & Marketing (optional): These would help us understand site usage and measure advertising performance (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel). They are off by default and will only load if you choose "Accept All".

3. Payment Processing (Stripe): When you proceed to payment, you are redirected to Stripe's own secure checkout page (stripe.com), which sets its own cookies under Stripe's Privacy Policy. This happens outside Claimo.uk and is necessary to process your £3.99 payment.
